1709 - 1717 Broadway (at West 54th Street)

This strip of low-rise buildings dating from around 1915 was fated to go the way of its neighbor to the west at 900 Eighth Avenue, although it was given a brief respite due to the financial crisis and was still un-redeveloped when I left the city in 2010. When I visited in February of 2012, the market had obviously picked up again.
