Agrippa Vaganova

Agrippina Vaganova was born in St. Petersburg in 1879. She was trained at the Imperial School, entered the company in 1897, was promoted to Ballerina in 1915 and retired to teach in 1917. Her method, greatly influenced by Cecchetti, is the basis of the Kirov School and Company today.
