El Capitan Theatre6838 Hollywood Boulevard
Designed by G. Albert Lansburgh as a live theatre. One of three themed theatres (along with the Egyptian and the Chinese) built in Hollywood by Charles Toberman and Sid Grauman. Remodeled in Art Moderne style and reopened in 1941 for film as the Hollywood Paramount. Purchased by Disney and restored in 1989 to its original design. (CinemaTrasures.com, Disney Site)
