Struther's Library Theatre

Warren, PA
Opened 1883, renovations in 1919 and 1984

Struther's Library Theatre is a very large auditorium in a very small town on the Allegheny River that was built by a very rich man when this community was a very different place. The building also includes an inactive library (hence the name) and rehearsal facilities. I was there in the Summer of 1998 doing a production of The King and I when there was a resident Summer Stock company that used the facility. Unfortunately, I didn't get any exterior shots of the building, but these photos are from the theatre's 1996 annual report.
