The Mountain Playhouse and Green Gables restaurant is nestled in the enchanging Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. The playhouse is a renovated 19th century grist mill that serves primarily as a Summer Stock theatre. The restaurant and meticulously manicured grounds host numerous weddings and social events throughout the year. The entire facility is managed by the daughter of the founder of the theatre - a woman who is one of the few people I've met in the theatre that is both a genuinely nice human being and excellent businessperson.
