The Cheboygan Opera House is on the upper floors of the city hall. In contrast to the trend in NYC of keeping theatre exteriors and gutting the interiors, the renovation of the Cheboygan Opera House lovingly restored the interior while replacing cladding the building in tawdry style so endemic to the '80s (11/30/2001)
