Cherryville SchoolCherryville, MO This abandoned building is located on Highway 19 in Crawford County, MO, about half an hour south of Cuba, MO. From the presence of genealogical resources on the web, this was apparently a thriving small community in the early 20th century although I'm not certain of the history of this obviously mid-20th century building. As with so many other small rural communities in Missouri, it was probably closed as a result of shrinking population and/or consolidation with a school in a nearby community.
